Font Pairing

Font Pairing Project:

What does it mean to create a font pairing? A font pairing means that it is when you find more than one font and combine them to make it look like it has synergy and to also make a word/saying pop out more than just having it in one simple font.

What are the four assignments you chose to do? Write the name of the assignment and describe your design for each.

Which assignment would you say is your BEST font pairing and why? I feel like the destination assignment is my best one because I like how the words go with the picture. The fonts I choose made the destination stand out and I like how it positioned right next to the tower in Tokyo, Japan.

Which assignment would you say is your Least Successful font pairing and why?

My least successful assignment would have to be the Float like a butterly, sting like a bee because I feel it doesn’t look like I demonstrated a solid technique. I tried to go for the words floating from above to the bottom but it just looks like it was placed there.

How would you describe the font pairing process? What makes a font pairing so difficult? I would describe the font pairing process as a difficult one because it is hard to find 2 or more fonts that correspond with each other and it depends on the saying you are trying to incorporate with them.
