Baby rules the kingdom

  1. As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective? My main objective was to take a damaged photo that had been destroyed over the years and bring it back to life.

  2. What tools did we primarily use for this project? I used the spot healing tool and the clone stamp and the healing brush.

  3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project? some of the challenges i faced were to fix the chair that had the patterns messed up and to get rid of the scar that was on the tree.

  4. If you worked on more than one photo, how did you approach them differently? I approached them by dwelling into the past and trying to form them into the present and tell a story with it. Did you have to use different techniques? No i used the same techniques for most of them. Was one restoration more challenging than the other? Yes because they all had different ways of destruction.

  5. The goal of photo restoration is to not “overdo” it. Do you think you succeeded in making your corrections look natural? I think i succeeded in making the corrections to emphasize how the baby became the king of the forest.
