How do you believe your design relates to the corporate Identity of your company? I believe that my design relates well with the company since it is a clothing line company. Its major color is black and emphasizes it since it is within the name of the company Black Pyramid.
How does your bag portray the “holiday”? My bag portrays the holiday by having Christmas trees on the back of the bag followed up by having the Black Pyramid symbol as the star for the tree.
3. Do you think that the company you designed for would really use your bag? Why or why not?
I do not know for sure since the company is more of a high-grade type of deal and since they are primarily an online shopping company I have not seen many bags from their company.
4.What makes your bag Unique and Different?
I think what makes my bag Unique and Different is that it emphasizes the company’s style on the bag by showing the logo on the front of the bag. This stands out the most since it isn’t a symbol that would be able to be recognized as another company.
5.Describe the process in which you took to create the bag? (From beginning to end)
The process I took was I first contemplated on what I wanted to do since when it comes to shopping I don’t do much of it or think much of it. So, then I thought I would go for a popular company but then when I did research on them everything looked the same; and I couldn’t think of doing anything unique to make my bag stand out. That’s when my cousin recommended me Black Pyramid since it’s a high-tale online shopping clothing company. Then once I figured out the company I started to sketch it out and I pretty much had an idea with what I wanted to do already. Since the company didn’t have that many colors to choose from I thought that the bag should have just been black. If I wasn’t behind at the time I would of tried to incorporate the bag into a pyramid shape instead of a square to add to its uniqueness. Once I finished the sketching I went straight into illustrator and used the templet layout to get the bag started. I searched up the logo that the company used and put it into illustrator. Then I decided I would try different combinations till I got what I wanted. Once I had gotten all the pieces I started putting them on the bag and tried different angles and sizes to get it to a good state. I got my friends to criticize what I was working on since I always doubt myself early on. After everything was complete I sent my work to Mr. Kunz my graphic design art teacher and he used a machine to put cut marks into the bag. After that everything was all hands-on work where I had to fold and tape up the bag. Once all that was completed we took pictures of the bag and went into photoshop to edit them.
